I joined the Ecochallange because I am curious to see what real impact this kind of platform can have on environmental issues. I also adore my 211info collogues and want to support our team in getting the most points. I have a competitive nature and have been very passionate about environmental and social justice issues since I was ten years old. I have always felt a deep spiritual connection to our Earth. Witnessing the rape and destruction of our planet has affected me in serious ways, and have many times wanted to give up and not care anymore. Not possible. But now I focus on the next generation. I continue advocating and organizing around environmental and social justice issues to show my daughter that I did what I could to stop the effects of climate change the best I could. It's all for her now. I love you, Alice.
