REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?
Chayn Frederick 4/18/2022 7:34 AMI practiced mindfulness over the weekend by observing by 3 year old daughter, and how her development in doing the simple things have changed from just a month ago. For example learning how to open a plastic easter egg. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?
Chayn Frederick 4/14/2022 9:31 AMI was excited to see how Memorial Park have grown and all the enhancements they placed there. I would highly encourage anyone to check it out as well.-
TAKISHA MCCLAIN 4/14/2022 10:33 AMI had planned to take the grandkids this weekend to see some enhancements at Hermann Park. Looking forward to the outside this weekend!

REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat is one invasive species in your region and how does it impact your region's ecosystem?
Chayn Frederick 4/12/2022 8:15 AMI learned about a new Invasive Ant species that hit Texas recently called a crazy ant that was wiping out alot of the insect species. Ecologist and scientist learned that the earth produces a natural Fungus which ended up being the main thing slowed them down. Now Ecologist are exploring using that fungy to help endangered species in other areas. Amazing how if you give the earth a chance, and do our part. It will heal itself in certain ways.-
