REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Debbie FInnigan 4/19/2022 6:12 AMThe implication is that we won't know what the world looks like and what we as human beings are doing to it! It is easier to care about the earth when we are interacting each day with it then being on our screens. Also, part of the reason I do OCR's is to interact with nature, see friends and do something healthy!-

REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodHow do you create new sustainability-related habits or change bad habits?
Debbie FInnigan 4/05/2022 7:09 AMlist in no particular order:
1. trash and recycle cans in each bedroom and the kitchen, also use the "pink bag" which is for clothes/cloth/shoes that can't be given to goodwill due to stains, wear, etc.
2. Use grove site for ways to use natural products & items that cut down on plastic use (ie. spray bottles, hand soap, etc)
3. If a location doesn't have a recycling program, I take it home with me to do it.
4. returnable cans are put in a bag so the gentlemen that collects them from the recycling bins in my neighborhood doesn't need to go through my curbside pick up.
