I reviewed my retirement portfolio through an investment impact screener and was very surprised to discover I hold investments that significantly contradict my values. As a result, I will reevaluate my portfolio and make some changes! Ignorance is NOT bliss!

Conducted two energy audits last week. One through Energyearth and the other through our Gas Company, Peoples Gas. There are no significant findings or recommendations other than replacing our AC/Furnace, which we already planned to do this year. Minor suggestions included purchasing an electricity monitor, faucet aerator, toilet tank bank, smart power strip, and an outdoor water-saving hose nozzle.   Out of curiosity, I may get an electricity monitor. However, there are many brands and models at various price ranges, so I will need to research them before buying.

I tried the 5-minute shower today. It was not as horrible as I thought it would be. Although, once the challenge is over, I may change to a 6-minute shower. The water tank is at the opposite end of the house, so it takes almost a minute before the hot water shows up!
