REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodHow does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
morgan edwards 4/11/2022 9:48 AMBalance is so important but something that is so easily passed over. When there is balance between work-life, there is space to make decisions without heightened emotions and have the ability to respond not react. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?
morgan edwards 4/11/2022 9:46 AMSomething new that I discovered was how much joy nature provides. I was meditating on moments of joy and any moments of joy I thought of involved being in the presence of nature. The abundance of beauty that the Earth provides is truly jaw dropping. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat was the tastiest sustainable seafood meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?
morgan edwards 4/11/2022 9:43 AMI do not eat meat anymore but I do remember a special seafood dish that brought me comfort. A friend of the family made a shrimp scampi dish that no one else was obsessed with except me. Every time he knew that my family was coming over, he would make me a little bowl of the shrimp scampi and it was delicious.

REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?
morgan edwards 4/08/2022 5:02 AMThe tastiest vegan meal I have made recently would have to be my homemade cashew cheese baked mac n cheese. It is always a yummy comfort food when it’s cold. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
morgan edwards 4/08/2022 5:01 AMWhen buying in bulk, I will sometimes use plastic containers that I end up throwing away but instead I could reuse those containers or use mason jars when buying in bulk.
