I practice this at least 1 time a week. Small actions can have a huge impact. Don't be afraid to ask a neighbor if they need help.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health & Equity
Why is it important to honor native and indigenous peoples and cultures? What have you learned that is important to you? If you identify with or are a member of an indigenous group, how does your community practice sustainability?

As part of the BlackFeet Nation I believe in this practice greatly. I was always taught you never take anything from nature without giving something back (normally tobacco)

I try to volunteer my time at least 1 time a week. Even if it's just helping a neighbor by walking their dog.

Easy to do and it doesn't even cost money! There are several companies that take harmful chemicals free of charge
