It's my last day working during Earth Month 2022. This eco-challenge has been so fun and educational. I'm so proud of all of us for working on being more sustainable! And remember, just because April's over, doesn't mean we should stop...let's take the info we've learned and keep it going! 🌍🌎💚🌳🌼🌺🌱🌷

These SDG's are to give everyone basic human needs. The goal is to end poverty, hunger, and malnutrition, and bring food security and safe drinking water to all.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Economy & Communities
Where does the energy in your region come from? Which energy is a renewable source?

    Archela Daly's avatar
    Archela Daly 4/27/2022 8:39 AM
The energy in my area comes mostly from natural gas and coal, followed by nuclear. Wind, hydro, and solar are low but will hopefully become greater each year. I would love to install solar panels at my house!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Economy & Communities
Would you consider using an induction cooking surface? If you have used one before, what do you like about induction cooking?

    Archela Daly's avatar
    Archela Daly 4/27/2022 7:39 AM
I would really like to have an induction stovetop. They are more efficient, more accurate, and they don't burn natural gas!

    Pregnancy discrimination
    Motherhood
    Gender pay gap
    Sexism
    Sexual harassment
    Being held to different standards
    Menstruation troubles
    Pink tax
    Stereotyping
    Not being taken seriously
