    I had to know more about this... researched Mindfulness on the Mayo Clinic website.  Simple ways to practice mindfulness include:  Pay attention, slow down and notice.  Live in the moment, find joy in the simple pleasures.  Accept yourself, treat yourself as you would a good friend.  Lastly, Focus on breathing.
