REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat was something important you learned about renter rights and affordable housing?
Frances Clark 4/03/2022 11:50 AMRenter rights vary greatly from state to state. It is important to know what your rights are in your state.
Affordable housing can be a problem for renters in most places but solutions are available if an area is willing to work on it.
I am a renter and I live where I am because I can get a decent place to live for about 1/2 of my income. I can't live where I would like to because the rent there is almost 1 1/2 times my income.-
Anne Byler 4/03/2022 3:56 PMYeah, it's really tight here now too. That's incredible. Are you finding any way to influence that? I did just hear finally of a 90-unit apartment building going up....(for$600-$800 rent ). Yay!
