Aldo Casanova 4/20/2022 7:44 AMThe other day I switched cars because my Jeep lets off too many emissions so I switched to using my moms car because I wanted to cut down on my carbon footprint.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth & EquityWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Aldo Casanova 4/11/2022 6:20 AMI spent a little bit over half an hour by the pool outside on Sunday enjoying sun and socializing with family face to face which feels like a more genuine connection than talking over the phone and it has made me appreciate that.-
Tangela Williams 4/11/2022 8:01 AMOn Sunday, I spent time away from my phone and television. I sat outside in my backyard for over an hour and enjoyed the breeze while watching my dogs play. This allowed me to declutter my mind and refocus.

REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?
Aldo Casanova 4/11/2022 6:17 AMI took a jog for about an hour to look at nature but before I knew it I had gone a little over an hour just jogging. No music, no cellphone, no distractions just jogged around enjoying the outside and finding new area around my neighborhood. It really made me appreciate nature and all it has to offer.-

Tangela Williams 4/11/2022 8:07 AMOn Saturday I went to an outdoor concert at a park that I had never been to before. If was great to get out among other music lovers and have conversations with new people. It also allowed me to explore an area of the city that I don't spend much time in. Getting out more helps with work life balance.

REFLECTION QUESTIONEducation & LivelihoodHow does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Aldo Casanova 4/08/2022 1:31 PMIt helps me clear my mind and be ready and more focused for my following day by not burning myself out. Sometimes time is needed during the workday to clear your thoughts and lead to more efficiency.
