REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
Ben Bukowiec 4/30/2022 3:25 PMWe've replaced a lot of the single use cleaning items in our house with reusable, recyclable, or plastic-free options (ex. hand soap bottles to tablet-based refills, liquid laundry detergent to detergent sheets in paper, and plastic-wrapped paper towel rolls to recyclable paper-wrapped rolls). -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?
Ben Bukowiec 4/30/2022 3:20 PMSpending more time intentionally exploring new areas helped to feel like a part of the community. There were several urban parks and natural areas that I was completely unaware of until looking. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?
Ben Bukowiec 4/30/2022 3:15 PMI will try to buy more food locally and avoid foods that are "water heavy" in production. -
Ben Bukowiec 4/30/2022 7:29 AMEvaluating my usage of resources every day has helped me realize ways I can use less and focus on finding more sustainable companies and products to replace some of the ones I currently use.
