REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhy is it important to take care of pollinators? Do you have a favorite pollinator?
Angela Bohl 4/14/2022 9:29 AMMy yard seems to be a haven for butterflies, lucky me! I planted some milkweed seeds for them, having learned that milkweed is the only plant monarch caterpillars feed on. I hope they grow and nourish these beautiful pollinators! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhy is art an important way for you to express sustainability values?
Angela Bohl 4/08/2022 10:47 AMThis morning I noticed a bird couple moving into the treehouse I put in my herb garden many months ago! Birds have tended to find some less than ideal places to make their nests around my house, so I'm glad to see them putting this to use, which was built just for them. It's such a gift to get to observe a family of birds as they make a home and raise a flock, and I hope they'll be safe and secure outside my kitchen window!
