REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
Shawnette Beard 4/08/2022 12:34 PMI use plastic bags for fresh produce, plastic bottles of Coke Zero, plastic trays for veggies and meats. All of them get washed and recycled once i'm done with them. The same with plastic grocery bags; i take them to be recycled. Recently i've been using torn down boxes instead of bags; Aldi is great about putting out the partial boxes. -
Shawnette Beard 4/06/2022 2:02 PMI've been recycling for years but the bins kept disappearing. Now i've found one location that is well maintained and not too far away. I'm taking my recyclables once each week instead of letting it build up for a month or longer. Much easier.
