REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Support A Renters Bills of RightsWhat was something important you learned about renter rights and affordable housing?
Keisha Armstrong 4/28/2022 5:04 PMRenters have the right to arrange for a walk-through of the premises to identify any problems that should be fixed BEFORE signing a rental agreement. Also, renters can make notes of any questionable conditions and include provisions for repairs in the rental agreement or in a separate written document signed by both parties.
I most like ... "If you DON'T understand, DON'T sign the agreement."

REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & Security Know Your ProduceWhat surprised you about the two produce lists? How will you use these lists for your grocery shopping? Have you used these lists before?
Keisha Armstrong 4/24/2022 9:49 AMComing from a Caribbean family we are taught that all food that comes from the ground / on trees / from the bush potentially needs to be washed and prepped before consumption. Living in the US unfortunately I still keep in the back of my mind that I need to be mindful of my food not only because of pesticides but also because of processing and harmful ingredients. Looking at the "pesticides in produce" list is not surprising to me. I've not used the list before but will continue to reference going forward for changes, etc. -
