REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsWhat is one invasive species in your region and how does it impact your region's ecosystem?
Suzanne Abram 4/30/2022 12:49 PMWe've got carp in our waterways -- I've seen them. Amazingly large fish. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate & EcosystemsHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?
Suzanne Abram 4/30/2022 12:42 PMOne of the reasons I spend a lot of time outside is because of my dog. I get tired walking her in the same old places all the time, so we go out to explore new areas! Most recently we found a trail that runs along a stream in a nearby subdivision. It's a great place to walk and appreciate the sunset. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBasic Needs & SecurityWhat watershed do you live in presently? What is something interesting or unique about your watershed?
Suzanne Abram 4/30/2022 12:39 PMI live in the Wabash River watershed -- over a large aquifer. We have multiple artesian wells in the area. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEconomy & CommunitiesWould you consider using an induction cooking surface? If you have used one before, what do you like about induction cooking?
Suzanne Abram 4/30/2022 12:35 PMI actually have an induction burner -- I really should get it out of the cupboard and use it more.
