We've got carp in our waterways -- I've seen them.  Amazingly large fish.

How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?

One of the reasons I spend a lot of time outside is because of my dog.  I get tired walking her in the same old places all the time, so we go out to explore new areas!  Most recently we found a trail that runs along a stream in a nearby subdivision.  It's a great place to walk and appreciate the sunset.

I live in the Wabash River watershed -- over a large aquifer.  We have multiple artesian wells in the area.

I actually have an induction burner -- I really should get it out of the cupboard and use it more.
